Day 1: Arrival in Leh Airport

Welcome to Ladakh extending from the Glacier to the main Great Himalayas, Ladakh is a land like no other. Your adventure starts  with your arrival at Leh Airport. Leh is the capital and largest town of  Ladakh, Golden Eagle Expedition Team will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel to check in. Today is set aside to allow you to settle in and rest up before we start tomorrow to explore stunning landscapes  and roads. By afternoon our Supported Team leader will meet you at the hotel and brief you about Trip. You will get your Bikes and Riding Gears at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing towards Sangam Point

Today’s ride will be around 90kms. Terrain type (basic) After a relaxing breakfast, we will visit Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of fame (A museum in memory of the brave Indian soldiers). Sangam Point which is the confluence of Indus and Zanskar river. Evening visit to Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at Leh. Day 3Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass

Travel distance and time (130km / 5-6 hours) Terrain type (intermediate) We ride through the epic Khardung La Pass (17,982 feet) the highest motorable road. The valley is known for the sand dunes with white rolling sands, and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels.

Diskit Monastery, the monastery has a 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river. You can go for adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and Double humped camel ride. Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hunder.

Day 3: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route

We will ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China. Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180km approx). Terrain Type (advance level as most of the terrain will be off-roading and water crossings will be there.) You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprised to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of mountains. Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude salt water lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India. Pangong Lake altitude 4,225m. Overnight stay at Cottage in Pangong .

Day 4: Pangong to Hanle via Rezang La war memorial

Travel distance and time (200 km /6-7 hours) Terrain type (Intermediate). The real beauty of Pangong lake you will observe on this day.  In Chushul we will visit the Rezang La war memorial. Hanle has a lovely Monastery offering some great aerial views of  the whole village that is a home of about 1000 people with an altitude of 4500 Mtrs.  The Hanle Observatory is operated by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru and currently the second highest optical observatory in the world, with an installed telescope of about 2.01 meters (6.5 feet) diameter. Overnight stay at Hanle.

Day 5: Hanle to Umling La and back to Hanlel

Travel distance and time (180km /6-7 hours) Terrain type (Intermediate). Today you will ride on the highest motorable road in the world. Umling La is a mountain pass in Ladakh, India on the ridgeline between Koyul Lungpa and the Indus River near Demchok. At an elevation of 5,640 metres, it forms the source for the Umlung stream that drains into the Indus and a tributary of the Kiungdul river that drains into Koyul Lungpa. Overnight stay at Hanle.

Day 6: Hanle to Leh via Chumathang

Travel distance and travel time (250 kms / 7-8 hrs) approx. Terrain Type ( Intermediate) On the way you can explore Chumathang (Hot Spring ). Lunch break at upshi village. Thiksay Monastery and Rancho School Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Departure to Home

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
